Key Stage 2

"The Church is the family of God, the people that God gathers in the whole world…The Church is local: visibly present in…the life of local communities – families (the domestic Church), parishes and dioceses."
Religious Education Curriculum Directory p.19

"The sacraments “give and celebrate the life of God’s grace in us…The seven sacraments touch all the stages and all the important moments of Christian life.” Baptism is one of the “sacraments of Christian initiation which lay the foundations of every Christian life. In Baptism we are reborn as children of God in Christ and enlightened by the Holy Spirit."
